Let's make GPS our Device(mobile phone or Pda)

I. Garmin XT Windows Mobile

1. download the sofware first:

2. at pda without expantion slot for example htc touch diamond (the garmin only permit install to storage or external memory) has to be setting first.
-a. Device Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC
-b. Choose disk drive (faster file transfer) then ask "about connection type when I connect"
-c. connect pda to pc with "disk mode" mode so the internal memory could recognize as storage

3. install garmin mobile Garmin Mobile XT for PPC, Garmin Mobile XT Free Basemap, Ver. 4.xx.xx, Garmin Mobile XT Support Files, Ver. 4.xx.xx continuity
4. after finish install, run the garminmobilext programme, choose 'Connect to a Garmin GPS' then choose 'setting\about' take a note your device id to your pda
5. install Update to version 5.0
6. install Voice
7. finish.

II. Garmin Mobile PC software version 5.00.5

2. install Garmin MPC 5.00.10
3. run the crack...
4. instal update Garmin MPC 5.00.50
5. run xport

Set Input (BT Serial Port atau GPS Serial Com; example: COM9)

To check bt serial port: click right at the bt icon in taskbar => Advanced Configuration => local services (if not available, click "add serial device" and setsecure connection Not Required)

6. set output (fill and choose port that never been use; such as;COM4,5,6,8, could fill until 8 port)
7. Check Enable Ports.
8. optional : click for refresh
9. Optional : Log setting (Check C:\GPSLog\Gps)

activated the garmin mobile pc programme:

1. click satallite pic at the right top
2. Disable
3. choose : Use Serial GPS
4. choose : com port that suits with virtual com port at hw vsp programme; such as:com3
5. Enable
6. Done

note : the connection mode are able with bluetooth or usb, depends on the external gps receiver. i use garmin 10x bluetooth gps receiver

III. ALL VEHICLES FOR GARMIN

1. Download file all vehicleS :

2. copy allvehicles.zip which include .srf file to folder /garmin/vehicle on mobile,pda or notebook
3. to choose wanted vehicles, enter garmin programme, choose tools - Settings - Map - Vehicle
4. if you like to delete unused vehicles, all you have to do just delete .srf file at the vehicle folder
